My second favoritest quadroon

I'd like to take a pop-culture time out to give a shout out to my favorite Jewish-Native-Black-Italian fashion designer, Santino Rice. I've seen the Fashion Week photos, and his designs were FIERCE! Go, Santino! (Dear Santino, if you win Project Runway and you read this, I would love to take you on a date to Red Lobster! xoxo)

So I take it he's still in? Who else remains? I missed it!

i can honestly say i have never heard (or read) the word "quadroon" out of an academic context.

He's hot, right? Santino, Chloe, and Daniel V. all presented at Fashion Week.

The term, "quadroon" is an outdated (and now derogatory) term that was used in the 19th century South to describe someone with one quarter African or Black ancestry, in part of a racial classification system based on the "one-drop rule."

My use of the term is ironic, since Julian (my first favoritest) would have been classified this way in the 19th century. DH and I also often imagined that he would grow up to be a famous fashion designer!

Santino's fierce and talented but I'm not sure if he understands a woman's body throughout the whole season. At the moment, I'm still rooting for Danny V.
