Requisite celebrity baby rant
Sorry, but I have to take 2 seconds out to rant about the celebrity baby boom. Gwynnie is on #2, Donald Trump's new trophy wife is preggers, there are rumors about Angelina and Brad, Bennifer II is due any day now, and now Katie Holmes and that lunatic, Tom Cruise, are expecting. I take some comfort in the fact that the media gave us all a bit of a reprieve by completely ignoring the birth of the Spears-Federline baby (an obvious snub, since the baby was born via a planned c-section, which had been scheduled months ahead of time), but this is the last straw. Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston must be devastated. And that poor JLo. When's it gonna be her turn? I'm right there with you, 'manita.

Two days ago I had a near nervous breakdown in a supermarket when I saw a magazine with the words "Baby Love" splashed on the cover. There was a close up pic of Briteney Spears her husband and new baby. Couldnt snub Britteney for long...too bad.
I was at the grocery store two days ago and came face-to-face with all the celeb magazines and tabloids. Britney, Britney, Britney and 'Angelina and Brad - Trying for a Baby!'
I'm sick of the pop press treating people like Britney Spears like she's the mother of the Second Coming. She is a slap in the face to those of us who actually desire and plan and wish to devote the rest of our lives to our children - not because it's the thing to do, or it would get more covers than adopting a kitten.
At least we know our men aren't tomcatting all over town or avoiding paying child support on other women's infants.
